Amar's Adventure at Grandpa's House πŸš‚πŸ˜πŸŽ£

Amar loved his granddad more than anything. There was something special about his grandpa's house..its peaceful garden, the smell of fresh coffee and buns, and the warmth of his granddad's stories...that made Amar long to visit.

One morning, Amar rushed to his mother, asking, "Maa, when can I go to grandpa’s house?"

His mother paused, thinking. "Hmm, maybe during the school holidays, but this time, I doubt you can. Both of us have work, and we may not have time to travel."

Amar’s face fell, and quietly, he walked away to his room, feeling disappointed. He knew his parents wouldn't send him alone, but he still wished he could go.

The next day, he tried again. "Maa, can I go alone if you and Dad can’t come with me?"

His mother smiled. "Let me see what your dad has to say."

As the school holidays arrived, Amar’s excitement grew. His parents agreed to send him to his granddad’s house, and the next day, he packed his bags. His dad reminded him, “Don’t forget your storybooks and don’t trouble your granddad!”

Amar couldn’t sleep that night, filled with excitement for the adventure ahead.

The next morning, after saying goodbye to his parents, Amar eagerly boarded the train to visit his granddad. During the journey, the train passed a wide-open plain, and to Amar’s amazement, he saw a family of elephants grazing in the distance. He pressed his face to the window, watching in awe as they moved gracefully through the grass.

When the train finally pulled into the station, Amar saw his granddad waiting for him with a big smile.

“Hey, you little rascal!” his granddad exclaimed, embracing him. “What a delight to see you again!”

They climbed into his granddad’s old car, and Amar asked, “Grandpa, you still use this car?”

Grandpa smiled. “Yep, it brings back all the good memories of your grandma.”

When they arrived at grandpa’s house, Amar was surprised to see his cousins were there, too! They spent their days fishing in the river, grilling fresh fish they had caught, swimming, and climbing trees to pick rambutan and guavas. It was the best holiday Amar had ever had, filled with adventures he’d never forget.

Amar had a great time and returned home with lots of stories to share with his parents and friends at school.
